  Fiona Chen '11  President    Fiona graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo High School in 2011, and from Boston University in 2015. She is an Organizational Change Management consultant at Cognizant Consulting's Digital Transformation practice (DT) where she helps corporations and agencies navigate through fluctuating environments caused by modern technology. In addition to her client work, she created her practice's first business analyst mentorship program, an initiative geared towards partnering undergraduate new hires with the right resources and colleagues.   During her spare time, she volunteers at community events and mentors Boston University undergraduates.

  Joe Arra '11  DaVinci Science & Math   Office of Advancement Director    Arra has worked in higher education fundraising since 2012. He brings expertise in campaign and fundraising management to the Benjamin N. Cardozo Alumni Association. Arra is currently the Program Center Manager at Georgetown University with Ruffalo Noel Levitz where he leads a team to engage and steward alumni while raising hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.   Arra received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Binghamton University. He is now pursuing a Masters in Public Policy & Administration from American University.

  Tyler Bianco '11    DaVinci Science & Math     Office of Advancement Associate Director    A former engineer for two years, Bianco is now on the path to becoming a high school physics teacher.  He attributes the spark of his passion for science to his time as captain of the Science Olympiad team, where he was given the first opportunity to delve further into the sciences through real world applications unattainable through any classroom. Bringing a variety of skills to the table, Bianco hopes to bestow his passion to future students while giving back to Cardozo through the Benjamin N. Cardozo Alumni Association.  Bianco received a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Mathematics at the Macaulay Honors College of Queens College, and is currently pursuing his Teacher's Certification and Master of Education at Queens College.

  Justin Chew '04    Trustee    After graduating from Cardozo in 2004, Justin Chew has returned to his alma mater as a Social Studies teacher.  He has enjoyed teaching students of varying levels, including students with special needs and English Language Learners.    Chew received a B.A. at Birmingham University and a Masters at Queens College. He is also a member of Community Board 11 and co-chair of the Education Committee.

  Rory Silver '08  Trustee    For the past five years, Rory Silver has worked as a middle and high school special education teacher in Washington, DC and The Bronx. In his capacity as an educator, he has served students attending District of Columbia Public Schools and KIPP DC public charter schools, and currently serves students with KIPP NYC. He brings his experience and expertise as an educator in the K-12 public school system to the Benjamin N. Cardozo Alumni Association with programming that will support the organization's mission and serve the students of Cardozo.   Silver received a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Middle Eastern Studies from The George Washington University and a Master of Education in Special Education from George Mason University. As a proud alumnus of Cardozo, Silver helped lead the school's debate team and was actively involved in speech, mock trial, and the science newsletter.

  Patrick Jordan '10    Parliamentarian    A 2010 Cardozo graduate, and the President of New York State Young Democrats, Patrick Jordan brings a wealth of experience to the Benjamin N. Cardozo High School Alumni Association. Previously having served the Political Director and Downstate Vice President of NYSYD and as the Executive Vice President of the Queens County Young Democrats, where he was, to date, the longest serving Executive Board member.  Patrick has worked on Democratic campaigns all over the state – ranging from city council all the way to congressional races. He is proudest to have run winning city council campaigns for the districts surrounding Cardozo High School.   .
